Tackling Mould & Creating Healthier Homes

In Queensland, heavy rains and flooding can lead to mould issues, but the region’s humid climate means mould is often a year-round concern. Beyond its impact on homes, mould can also silently contribute to health issues. While we hear about the link between mould, water and humidity, the connection with energy is less well known.
In this webinar, we will be joined by Energetic Communities Association Inc to explore:
-what causes mould
-how energy efficiency measures can impact mould growth
-how to prevent and mitigate mould -the health impacts of mould -the responsibilities of renters and landlords in relation to mould. This webinar is ideal for anyone looking to create healthier homes, and for those working in the community services sector who support service users with housing, energy matters, or disaster recovery. The Charge Up! project receives grant funding from the Queensland Government as part of the Enable Grants Program. (Recorded 7 May 2025)
