Community Members can link to the following supports:

  • Uniting and Powerlink Energy Support Program 1800 313 126 or energy@vt.uniting.org

    The FREE program is delivered over-the-phone and offers:

    • guidance on energy efficiency measures to reduce your ongoing bills

    • support to access appropriate concessions and HEEAS payments where eligible

    • assistance to set up affordable payment plans with retailers

    • advocacy to negotiate debt waivers or reductions where possible

    • help to find a better energy plan or to access energy retailer hardship support programs

    Interpreter support is also available. This support is available to all Queensland households.
